connection and disconnection is possible
Speedglas breathing tubes are designed to deliver clean air to the Speedglas head shield, they should be checked regularly and replaced should punctures be found to avoid contaminated air being drawn into the system.
The Speedglas self adjusting breathing tube is designed somewhat like a slinky to give you added flexibility when needed and to recoil to prevent snagging when extension is not necessary.
Breathing tubes are back-mounted to eliminate interference and contact with the hot welding area.
QRS hoses can be connected to the 9000 series head shields with addition of hose adaptor, code 77154.
