Back cap sealing washers must be kept in good order to help prevent atmosphere ingress during the welding process.
Medium and Short back cap allows a short piece of tungsten to be fitted to the TIG torch so the torch can be used in confined spaces.
Long back cap allows a full length 150mm tungsten to be fitted to the TIG torch.
