The Swiss Air ABE1P combination filter spark protector is designed to eliminate the possibility of any grinding sparks or weld spatter from entering into the system and damaging the pre and main filters.
For the perfect performance, the spark protector should always be pre-loaded into the Swiss Air combination filter cover first in front of the ABE1P combination pre-filter.
The spark protector should always be check prior to the Swiss Air being used to ensure it is clean and intact. Should it become dirty, then it can be cleaned with soapy water but should be replaced if there are any signs of damage.
