Features:
The aluminium oxide abrasive grit is embedded in a resinoid bond, on a flexible strong cloth backing.
If the abrasive mop wheel is used at the optimal RPM setting, the grinding flaps stand up straight as a result of the centrifugal forces around the core and provide optimum abrasive mop wheel grinding properties. Only the edges of the grinding flaps are subjected to wear and tear, which results in the introduction of the new and sharper grits from the first to the last work piece.
The Pferd flap wheels achieve their best results whilst at a recommended cutting speed of between 15-30 m/s.
Can be mounted to various machines with the use of 79mm mounting plates.
Diameter 150mm x Width 30mm
Compared to traditional 165mm flap wheels which should only be ran at 5,700 rpm, these wheels can ran on machines with speeds up to 6,300 rpm. For safety reason it is imperative to remain within the stated maximum permitted rotational speed at all times.
