To ensure excellent drilling results from the Panasonic EY7881, it has a selectable 3 option impact drilling mode: High 0-840rpm, 0-4400ipm, 3.3 Joules. Medium 0-680rpm, 0-3600ipm, 2.3 Joules. Low 0-560rpm, 0.2950ipm, 1.4 Joules, so the impact energy can be adapted to suit the task in hand. Full impact energy for concrete, reduced impact energy for less dense materials such as bricks or tiles.
