The open structure of the non-woven material reduces heat build-up during operation and also prevents clogging – giving long service life. The reinforced nylon strands reveal new grain during use to maintain disc performance, proving to be much safer and faster than wire brushes which add significant weight to the power tool and shed strands of metal as they wear.

Unlike traditional abrasives which are designed to remove stock, this heavy duty clean and strip disc will not deform or remove any of the underlying metal which can show through as surface imperfections when new coatings are applied – the integrity of the base material also remains uncompromised.

The transition from mains to battery tools further necessitates the introduction of lighter weight and more energy efficient accessories, to extend battery life and improve the performance of cordless power tools. Mini clean and strip discs make it possible for users of cordless angle grinders to enjoy the benefits of cord free working without any reduction in performance.
